Hexcel is currently seeking an Accountant for our Casablanca, Morocco location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations :
- Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliation.
- Develop and maintain internal control procedures.
- Provide support for audits and tax compliance.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures.
- Assist in Fixed asset management, participate in inventory and maintain updated fixed asset register.
- Tracking and managing fixed assets, including depreciation and amortization
- Manage accounts payable and receivable : verify, record, and follow up on supplier and customer invoices.
- Ensure timely payment processing and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Qualifications :
Master's degree (Bac +5) in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financeMastery of industrial processes.Proficiency in management ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamic and Sage).General accounting, bookkepping, analytical accounting.Proficiency in computer tools : Excel, Power BI.Experience working with auditing firms.Mastery of Moroccan accounting and tax standards.Strong interpersonal skills and good communication.Communication : English and French.Candidates must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
