Job Description
We are seeking to hire a dedicated, organized, and efficient "Foreign Trade Senior Specialist f / m" to join our team. You will work closely to coordinate and complete position's tasks as follow :
1 / Manage the import / export operations from A to Z according Bosch compliance rules :
- Monitor customs clearance operations on a daily basis with the brokers,
- Regulate with the business units and the brokers the needed requirements to clear the shipments,
- Coordinate with other departments in case of missing documents / information / tariff classification, etc,
- Arrange and complete all associated paperwork, which documents the nature of the goods being imported are legitimate,
- Keep tracker for all shipments (lead-time),
- Interact with Insurance company for claim and settlement in the case of goods damages,
- Monitor customs clearance KPI (lead-time of each step of the clearance process),
- Challenge the brokers in their performance (lead-time, advice, problem solving),
- Perform duty and invoice verification (broker & freight forwarder),
- Coordinate with Finance the payment of duties,
- Ensure proper archiving of the documents,
- Design all standard operating procedures for all import and export processes according to company policies,
- Monitor all activities in foreign trade zone.
2 / Provide guidance / advice to the business units for all FT Foreign Trade related topics :
New business ideas / needs,FTA possibilities,Special import / export requirements,Duty rates,Special customs procedures, etc.3 / Accountable for internal controls and audit requirements,
4 / Develop / Implement clearance tracking and cost monitoring tools,
5 / Define strategy to optimize lead-time & cost,
6 / Communicate with customs authorities,
7 / Coordinate audits by customs authorities,
8 / Coordinate broker tenders (incl. defining broker requirements),
9 / Support the business unit regarding entry market requirements (Product Conformity - ANRT / MCIA / Imanor),
10 / Management of legal local topics.
Qualifications
Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,Profound knowledge of customs & products regulations in Morocco,Practical experience in import / export customs clearance,Profound knowledge of consumer goods clearance (Automotive Parts mainly),Minimum 5 years practical experience,Fluent in English, Arabic & French,Strong IT-Skills (e.g. MS Excel), SAP knowledge is a plus,Analytical thinking and Problem-solving attitude,Knowledge / Experience in Lean Management and Lean Tools,Entrepreneurial mind-set, communication skills, intercultural competency.
