Position Overview : As an Executive Advisor in our Advisory team, you will leverage your comprehensive energy policy and strategy experience to provide balanced advice relating to the energy landscape in the UK and Middle East. Your deep understanding of energy policy frameworks and regulations will enable you to provide strategic insights and guidance to public and private sector clients and internal stakeholders, crafting forward-thinking energy policies that drive sustainable strategies and advance the energy transition. Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate closely with clients, government agencies, and industry partners to provide expert advisory services on energy policy, regulations, and strategic planning.
- Lead the development, analysis, and implementation of energy strategies that align with sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of energy market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of whitepapers, reports, and publications on energy policy and strategy.
- Advise clients on navigating complex policy challenges, assisting in regulatory compliance, and identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, industry leaders, and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in public forums, conferences, and workshops to share insights and stay abreast of the latest industry developments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within GHD to integrate energy solutions into broader projects.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Energy, Environmental Policy, Economics, Engineering, or related field.Extensive experience in the Energy sector, with a focus on progressive Energy Policy and Strategy.In-depth knowledge of the UK and / or Middle East energy landscape, including regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and sustainability initiatives.Proven track record of providing strategic advice to clients, government entities, or industry associations.Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging with diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated thought leadership through publications, conference participation, or industry contributions.Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis, modelling, and presentations.Charismatic leadership style, fostering collaboration, and driving results within cross-functional teams.Professional memberships and affiliations related to Energy and Policy are advantageous.Benefits :
