Mitsumi invites applications for the position of Country Manager- North West Africa .
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the Mitsumi IT distribution business across North West Africa for countries likeSenegal,Gabon,Cameroon,DRC ..etc
The position will be based in Morocco.
This role involves strategic planning, business development, team management, and relationship-building with vendors, partners, and customers in the IT distribution industry.
The Country Manager will be accountable for driving revenue growth, achieving business targets, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Strategy and Planning :
Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy and operational plan aligned with the overall company goals.
Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities to drive the business forward.
Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for the country's IT distribution operations.
Business Development :
Identify and establish partnerships to expand the product portfolio.
Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Collaborate with sales teams to identify and target new customers and market segments.
Explore new distribution channels and sales opportunities to increase market share.
Sales and Revenue Growth :
Drive revenue and profitability by managing sales teams and guiding them to achieve sales targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate existing markets and enter new segments.
Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and propose corrective actions as needed.
Foster strong relationships with key clients and partners to enhance customer loyalty and repeat business.
Team Management :
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of sales professionals, account managers, and support staff.
Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to ensure team members are motivated and capable of achieving their goals.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
Operations and Logistics :
Oversee the logistical aspects of product distribution, including inventory management, warehousing, and order fulfillment.
Ensure efficient supply chain operations, timely delivery, and accurate order processing.
Implement processes to optimize inventory levels and reduce operational costs.
Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
Act as a primary point of contact for key vendors and work closely to align strategies and goals.
Address customer inquiries, issues, and concerns to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Financial Management :
Develop and manage the country's distribution budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement cost-control measures when necessary.
Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management.
Market Intelligence :
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to make informed business decisions.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on market changes and potential opportunities or challenges.
Qualifications and Requirements :
10-15 years of experience in IT distribution, sales, or related roles, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
Strong understanding of the IT industry, technology products, and distribution channels.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans.
Proficiency in data analysis and using insights to drive decisions.
Familiarity with supply chain and logistics operations.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changes.
Fluency in local language(s) and English (written and spoken).
Willingness to travel as required.
