WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining & supporting all or a proportion of the Geographically Distributed (Virtual) team portfolio of applications, working with colleagues to standardize and drive efficiency. The Incumbent should broaden their technical and delivery skills using tools at their disposal, including but not limited to Freedom within a Framework, Data management, ERP and Sales solutions. The role is responsible for ensuring that 3rd-party solution providers & external resources fulfil agreed-upon commitments and contractual obligations within budgeted costs.

This role will require leadership of projects to localize and roll out of centralized systems, including the detailed planning and execution of the project / changes, data migration, external resources and go-live.

The successful candidate will be actively engaging with business stakeholders and D&IT partners to explore capability improvements or to ensure clear understanding of new capabilities requirements. He / she will work with Virtual team lead to understand existing tools that can deliver needs and plan in Roadmap. He / she will drive demand process to deliver new solutions as planned in the roadmaps.

The Incumbent will actively review technology successes in JTI and external environment, bringing to the attention of Business partners to explore the innovation within the virtual team’s remit.

While ensuring adherence to JTI D&IT and Corporate governance standards, the incumbent will lead and manage identified changes & projects, and on occasions related teams, to ensure they are executed successfully. He / she will at all times work in accordance with JTI’s Project Management Framework, established D&IT standards, policies and procedures, J-Sox controls and industry best practices.

EDUCATION

We are looking for a candidate with University Degree in Computer or Technical Science or strong working IT background, with fluent English and French.

WORK EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years’ experience in the IT discipline in a multinational company (preferably FMCG industry).

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

We are looking for a candidate with experience in at least 2 of the following new technology trends :

• Microsoft PowerPlatform (PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate)
• Microsoft Data Lake and Data Warehouse technologies
• Field Sales Solutions
• Online Sales, Loyalty and payment systems
