The candidate, with experience in automotive ECU design will follow the developments of PoCs (Proof of Concepts) with third parties.
Potential responsibilities are :
- Hardware Design of mixed signal ECUs.
- Definition of new products concepts focused on modularity and flexibility.
- Interact with cross functional engineering teams across the company
- Propose Patents Applications
- Electronics technology and Market survey with suppliers
- Follow hardware validation tests
- Analyze the results and write the reports, trace any non-conformities or possible improvements
- Participate in product or vehicle tests in conjunction with the Project, System team.
- Support team as Electronic Expert
- Support in product benchmark
Qualifications :
Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or related fieldMore than 2 years in hardware designer position, in electronics advance engineering (embedded control boards) for an automotive tier 1Knowledge about real-time mechatronic embedded systems, electronics components, Analogue and Digital Design including microprocessors / microcontrollers, programmable logic, Switch Mode Power Supply design, PCB design and design for EMC.Experience in product design in thermal, electrical, EMC and ESD environments, with sizing of electronics and adequate routing constraints.Knowledge about assembly process of an electronic boardKnowledge about EMC regulation and design for EMC optimizationDFx (Design for cost, test, manufacturing) expertiseAutomotive electronic device experienceSchematic capture with tool setsExperience in some of the following domain is recommended : weak signal sensors and conditioning, inductively coupled power supply, portable device, short distance RF communication, 12V-48V 50A brushless motor control, Opto-electronics, LCD display.Autonomous, taking ownership, teamwork, leadership in actions and coordinationKnowledge of Hardware lab equipment such as digital scope, logic analyzer, and soldering skills
