Position overview :
Reporting directly to the hardware engineering manager, our future hardware engineer will beresponsible for the HW schematics design (components selection according to preferred suppliers and their interconnection) and its verification ensuring the compliance of the requirements released for its implementation.
Provides technical work packages including schematics and its reports, supporting design reviews, simulations, analysis (WCA,VCA, Support to DFMEA, …), FuSa deliverables ,Cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities :
- Requirements analysis / definition, implementation, status recording and verification
- Low Level Implementation, accurate design edition support (HW technical documentation) and releases
- Components selection.
- Change management (Issues triggering, supporting Documentation).
- Assure Hardware deliverables are compliant with project planning / Quality and process.
- Knowledge of the Functional Safety procedures & techniques established in the organization.
- Knowledge of functional safety related products ( FMEDA / FTA Method, …)
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity procedures & techniques established in the organization.
- Coordination and planning of product validations.
- Creation of test specifications according to generally applicable standards, guidelines, and customer requirements
- Support in conducting tests on connector systems (e.g., environmental simulations, electrical tests, etc.)
- Conducting failure analyses
- Preparing test samples (including soldering and assembling components)
- Documentation and evaluation of test results
- Preparing release reports
- Internal and external presentation of test results
- Collaboration in international development teams
- Teamwork and Collaboration capacity with different project stakeholders’ documentation
Key skills and Qualifications :
Bac Bachelor's / master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.1 or 2 years of experience in the automotive industryExperience with vehicle electronics is an advantage.Fluent French & English (written and spoken)Why Lear
