Technologies and Tools :

Talend ETL – Proficiency in Talend Open Studio and Talend Server
Strong SQL knowledge
Java / J2EE
Dimensional Data Modeling
Data Warehousing Concepts and Reporting Concepts
Cloud Platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
Version Control Systems (Git)
CI / CD Pipelines

Required skills :

Talend ETL – fully proficient with development and administration of Talend Open Studio and Talend Server – Experience developing with the Talend product suite

Strong SQL knowledge

Java / J2EE

Deep knowledge and hands on experience with dimensional Data modeling

Data warehousing concepts, reporting concepts

Working with cloud platforms (docker, Kubernetes)

Quick learner, ability to collaborate with different stakeholders

Communication skills : English, French

Required Soft Skills :

Excellent communication skills in English and French

Strong leadership and mentoring abilities

Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Problem-solving mindset and resourcefulness

Proven track record in a distributed team environment

Adaptability and continuous learning

Job responsibilities :

Lead the design, development, and implementation of Talend ETL solutions,

Architect and optimize data integration architectures for scalability, performance, and maintainability,

Mentor and guide a team of Talend developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards,

Translate business and technical requirements into data interfaces, transformation jobs, and data models,

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data architects, DBAs, and business analysts, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery,

Oversee the development and administration of Talend Open Studio and Talend Server environments,

Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security standards,

Continuously seek opportunities to refine and improve Talend practices within the distributed team,

Serve as a liaison between the development team and other departments or stakeholders as needed,

This position requires a Senior Talend ETL Developer capable of effectively driving technical excellence, fostering collaboration, and spearheading ETL projects within a distributed team environment
