Job Purpose

The position is an ExCom role, the main responsability is developing annual strategic Public Relations, Marketing and Digital plan for the hotel.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :

• Successfully plan, implement and lead long-term marketing-PR strategies across a range of clients and have a track record for increasing media understanding, consumer engagement, brand awareness and sales by proactively escalating revenue and driving business forward.
• Overseeing design and production of marketing collaterals and promotional materials, as well as extensive copywriting and production of press materials and editorial content.
• Creating and delivering content for integrated multi-channel social media strategy.
• Leverage luxury and lifestyle portfolio PR opportunities, develop top-tier media relations, oversee and manage all outside public relations resources, develop brand specific PR partnerships and driving the long-term luxury and lifestyle portfolio strategy.
• Work closely with F&B and Sales department to map out promotional activities for the year.
• Build and maintain relationships with key local decision makers and the local social community to promote positive exposure of the hotel.
• Work closely with Corporate Public Relations and regional press offices on developing story angles specific for the international markets.
• Initiate hotel press releases and General Manager’s speeches.
• Initiate schedule and plan local and international media familiarization trips with local tourism bodies and airline partners.
• Direct photography for editorial and advertising purposes in liaison with the Director of Sales, advertising agency and corporate brand marketing.
• Maintain budget control and oversee media placement schedules in feeder markets.
• Determine overall marketing communications campaign. Monitor and reviews the response rates in order to improve and take corrective measures (where applicable).
• Act as brand custodian for all internal and external communication pieces.
• Develop social media strategies and messages for the year.
• Developing relationships with community and managing communications for CSR initiatives.
• Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
