We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Performance Engineer specializing in Crash Simulation to join our team. As a Project Performance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the structural integrity and performance of our products under crash conditions. Your expertise in crash simulation will be instrumental in guiding design decisions and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Main Duties, Operational Tasks, Responsibilities :
- Ensure the integration of all safety requirements in components' RFQ or consider them during the design process.
- Contribute to defining the Integration and Validation Plan, both numerically and physically, for vehicle and subsystem performance.
- Provide safety opinions prior to selecting suppliers when requested by the project.
- Evaluate the robustness of components and subsystems in terms of passive safety performance.
- Prepare technical data related to crash homologation tests as per project requirements.
- Ensure proper execution of the physical subsystem integration and validation plan, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
- Collaborate with the test analyst to analyze test results.
- Provide a synthesis of performance for each project milestone.
- Analyze CAE results for each phase and provide performance insights.
- Share weekly updates on performance status during weekly meetings.
- Compare test results with CAE (including predictivity index) and correlation iteration with concerned departments when needed.
- Report performance convergence status regularly to project team and prepare documentation.
Qualification Requirements :
Engineering education in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.Experienced in crash & safety assessments, 3 years minimum.Firm in crash simulation software packages (ANSA, Meta, RADIOS, LS-dyna)Experienced in High-speed front, rear & side crash, pedestrian protection and repairability.Highly self-organized and self-responsible with ability to work in a team.Good knowledge in the automotive field and product development phases.Experience in project management.
