JOB OVERVIEW :

TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

  • Helping set the strategic direction of the new product development & portfolio profitability by product group, and serving as the point person and key strategic partner for the global teams of Product Management, Project Management
  • Driving project financial performance and value through execution and influencing positive change,
  • Driving cost effectiveness across global product groups including internal manufacturing plants & suppliers
  • Leading business unit project financial modelling, execution, and project post-audit, driving continuous improvement
  • Developing digital solutions for project financial module
  • Support business unit price action, i.e, provide a cost breakdown to support price increase actions
  • Lead global talent of project finance through job training, development, diversity, retention, and recruitment efforts

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Strong business acumen in a macro-economic environment like mental, resin, oil price trend, sensitive to market changes
  • Deep understanding of the product, operations (supply chain and manufacturing process), standard costing, actual costing, and accounting rules
  • International / global business experience with exposure to diverse cultures, strong Team leadership
  • Finance & Accounting knowledge (costing, FP&A)
  • Digitalization skill (Power BI, Tableau, Costing module software)
