Financial Administration
- Maintains accurate financial records in accordance with IFRS and internal policies.
- Performs daily bank reconciliations and ensures accuracy of cash balances.
- Prepares and reviews payments using various banking systems.
- Supports the CFO in preparing for external audits and compiles audit packs, including VAT 201 submissions.
- Oversees accounts payable, ensuring timely invoice processing and payment execution.
- Ensures ERP system data integrity and supports other departments with ad hoc analysis.
Financial Reporting
Assists with month-end close processes, including journal entries and financial reporting.Participates in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.Supports the development of monthly schedules and internal control procedures.Prepares statutory reports and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.Compliance & SHEQ Responsibilities
Ensures compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and company safety policies.Participates in Integrated Management System (IMS) initiatives.Identifies and reports risks, incidents, and non-conformance.Upholds hygiene, safety, and health standards in the Finance Office.The Successful Applicant
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldExperience
Over 5 years' experience in an Accounting or Finance environmentExperience handling foreign currencies and maintaining general ledgersExperience in doing operational wand administrative work.Technical Skills & Knowledge
Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsProficient in SAGE / Pastel EvolutionIn-depth knowledge of IFRS 16, GAAP, and financial regulationsFamiliarity with ISO standard requirementsCompetencies
