Senior Finance Manager

Job descriptionLead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic budgets and cost controls. Monitor and track budget variances, investigate discrepancies, and propose corrective measures when necessary. Provide guidance on optimizing resource allocation to maximize financial efficiency. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Present financial performance to key stakeholders and senior management, highlighting critical insights and areas of concern. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements. Oversee cash flow and liquidity management to ensure the availability of funds for daily operations and strategic initiatives. Monitor receivables and payables to optimize working capital and minimize financial risk. Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs for continuous improvement. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, ensuring adherence to audit standards and requirements. Implement and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in financial management and administration. In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis. Knowledge of Moroccan financial regulations and tax laws. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite. Experience working in a tech or e-commerce company is highly desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
