Network & Cyber Security Specialist

Job description

The Network & Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's network, systems, and information, and keeping up to date on the latest security threats and trends. Will also oversee the implementation of security measures and protocols to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Should possess a strong technical background in information security, with a comprehensive understanding of networking and security principles. Should also have excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Security or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong expertise in networking and security principles, including firewall and intrusion detection systems.
• Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc.
• Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, DLP, WAF, and antivirus software
• Proven ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are a plus.
