Manager, Business Development

In this critical role, you will be responsible foridentifying and developing opportunities within the region, negotiating and closing deals with Account Payout Network (APN) and mobile wallet operators. You will be directly accountable for achieving transactional and revenue goals, while also identifying and prioritizing service quality issues across field teams. You’llanalyze performance and competitive data and contribute to new product and pricing proposals under the guidance of the People Manager, Global Payout Director.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with (Account Payout Network) APN and mobile wallet operators.
Drive regional growth through go-to-market strategies, pricing proposals, and new product initiatives.
Lead commercial negotiations and ensure contract compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Oversee partner onboarding, transaction processing, and operational performance.
Collaborate with finance, treasury, and compliance teams on settlements, liquidity, and reconciliations.
Act as a liaison between partners and product teams to support solution development and customization.
Monitor KPIs, analyze market data, and resolve service quality issues to ensure partner satisfaction.
Align cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives and continuous improvements.
Work closely with business, compliance, finance, and operations teams to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution.
Support internal teams in resolving service quality issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Around 5–6 years of experience building and managing client relationships, developing business opportunities, or expanding partner networks.
3–4 years of experience in sales or marketing, ideally within remittance, digital payments, or banking—but we’re open to related industries if you bring strong transferable skills.
Proven track record in managing partnerships and achieving revenue goals.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
