YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :

Modeling / simulation engineer :

Deliver 0D / 1D GT power robust correlated models based on physical tests
Reproduce physical tests with models and explain strange behaviors
Make design choices : turbocharger matching, exhaust line … based on numerical simulation results
Deliver robust pre-calibrations : VVT settings , Air load limitation , LSPI risk estimation …
Make robust engine performance forecast under different customer use cases ( Stabilized , transient, Altitude , Hot T° … )

Modeling / simulation Technical Lead :

Train the team

Remove roadblocks / Support on getting deliverables done

Coordinate with stakeholders ( Calibration engineers / engine system / functional design leader )

Quality Gates - Improve methodologies & tools

YOUR PROFILE :

Modeling / simulation principles : from physical laws / equations to numerical models

Tools : GT power mainly + 0D tool + Matlab - Physics of thermal engines : Performance , Air path, combustion, thermal transfers , fluids mechanic…

Engines / Tests environment ( Test conditions / Instrumentation / Thermo-mechanical constraints … )

Knowledge about sensitivities on Air path / combustion behavior related to parametric variations :

Conditions : Temperature, Pressure, Fuel …

Settings : VVT, Spark Advance, …

Hardware : Turbocharger, exhaust line , camshaft profile …
