Administer the sales program of the hotel
Implements all sales action plans related to the respective market (by segment and geographical locations) as outlined in the Marketing plan. Actively participates in achieving the departmental goals, which contribute to the Marketing budget. Closely monitors accounts revenue and business production for Travel Agent, Local DMC, Wholesaler, Preferred Partners, etc. Maximizes up-selling opportunities whenever possible. Assists the Director of Business Development in the forecasting of rooms revenue and ADR for Leisure FIT and Groups. Attends related work functions and promotional events (i.e. trade shows) and promotes sales (rooms, catering, and other facilities and services) for the hotel. Plans sales trips, under the direct approval, calling on accounts within the specific market areas. The Sales Executive reports to the Director of Business Development on potential markets, which need coverage. Reviews direct competition and conducts regular research Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales, telephone, and written communications. Conducts site inspections. Maintains close communication with the Catering Team in the negotiation process of their accounts To handle all aspects of familiarization / site inspection clients or groups including enquiry, co-ordination and execution thereof. Responsible for post-fam / site inspection group follow-up such as sending “Thank You Letter” and developing a potential client’s database for future business opportunities. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Experience :
Minimum 2 –3 years experience in hotel sales
Skills and Abilities :
Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company. Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Good Attitude.
High level of communication in French and English. Moroccan passport holder.
