Main Duties, Operational Tasks, Responsibilities
- Definition and Development of Safety Concepts
- Contribution to Risk assessments and Safety analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA)
- Specification of requirements for safety-relevant functionalities
- Interface to Software and Hardware development
- Facilitating and attending to technical assessments
- Development of test plans, definition of test specifications and test execution
- Verification of Safety Concepts on HIL, Testbeds and in Vehicle
- Contribution to R&D activities
- Reporting of safety critical issues to the project and the line managemen
Qualification Requirements
Knowledge about safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262)Knowledge about existing safety concepts (e.g. FSC, TSC)Knowledge about requirements development and requirements engineeringKnowledge about safety analysis techniques (FMEA, FTA, DFA)Domain specific knowledge depending on the application (e.g. powertrain, transmission, ADAS)Knowledge about verification and validation of safety critical systems (e.g. fault insertion testing)Knowledge about software and electronic hardwar
