SDO DESIGNER Duties & Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Contribute to the creation / update of project deliverables : FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), HARA (Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment), TSC (Technical Safety Concept), FSC (Functional Safety Concept).
- Validate and analyze Diagnostic deliverables.
- Identify specific requirements related to OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) and fault detection.
- Develop test plans taking into account different failure modes.
- Manage project communication with various stakeholders including the client and SDO Designers.
- Allocate tasks, oversee projects, and ensure that deadlines and objectives are met.
- Monitor technological advancements in the field of automotive safety.
- Design security, OBD, and diagnostic requirements to meet applicable standards (e.g., regulations, ISO-26262) and produce related deliverables.
- Identify Security / OBD / Diagnostic impacts generated by technical developments.
- Define requirements applicable to a specific project and implement them.
- Design the integration validation plan.
- Analyze and validate the results of IVP (Integration Verification Plan) tests.
Qualification Requirements :
Engineering degree in embedded systems, mechatronics or related fieldsExperience of >1 years in powertrain systems design & engineering / Safety / Diag / OBD.
Good knowledge of ICE & HEV powertrains functions & regulation Euro 7V-cycle and general automotive culture / PWT / The different types of vehicles and their associated technologies (DIESEL – PETROL - xEV)Power electronics, EE architecture, electrical networks (CAN -LIN, etc.)Knowledge and interpretation of the main functions of diagnosis and safety (ISO26262)Knowledge of OBD standards (Euro6 / Euro 7 / CARB)Knowledge of Matlab Simulink (SPEC reading)Ability to manage communication and ease in exchanges with all stakeholders.Good communication & collaborative skillsGood analytical skills
