Position overview :
As a process engineer in our Rabat plant, you will be responsible for manufacturing processes and equipment : specification, setup, release, cycle time, compliance, standardization, and optimization.
Main missions :
- Responsible to define Power equipment requirements according to quality objectives, customer, and Lear standards
- Defines and prepares investment studies and times for new power projects.
- Assures capitalization and transversalization of lessons learned
- Follows homologation of Power equipment and auxiliary
- During post-launch phases looks for continuous improvement and manufacturing support
- Assures training of the production team on Power equipment.
- Follows and assures outsourced tasks, assembly, or tooling.
- Follows and uses internal tools and processes (LPMP, Profile...)
- Specifies power new equipment and / or tooling and reviews offers completeness according to specs.
- Works with purchasing for supplier selection and price reduction.
- Works with manufacturing plant improving quality, cost, and productivity
- Keeps updated and looks for technology evolution at the equipment and component level
- Participates on improvement teams when requested
- Ensure the conformance of products and processes according to IATF, Customer specific requirements, and regulatory requirements.
Key skills and qualifications :
University degree or high level of electronic education5 years of experience in the same positionFirst work experience in the automotive industry is an advantageVery good knowledge of French and English, both written and spokenWork location :
