Software Test Engineer

What to expect :

Testing of high-quality software in safety-critical embedded systems in the automotive sector
Analysis and review of requirements as a basis for subsequent test activities
Creation of test specifications, test cases and test protocols
Development of test procedures
Execution of tests from module to system level
Execution of tests in the HIL environment
Documentation of the work results
Verification and review of work results in the development process

What you bring along :

Engineering degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or comparable qualification

Good knowledge of C / C++, Python and MATLAB / Simulink or similar tools for graphical programming, modelling and simulating

Initial) experience in the definition and implementation of structured software tests, in requirements management and in continuous integration & deployment is desirable

Know-how in using the test tools TPT and ETAS tool chain as well as the ISO 26262 standard is an advantage

Knowledge of version management tools (e.g. Git, SVN) and agile development is an advantage

Skills in communicating technical content and progress of projects

Certified Tester Foundation Level (ISTQB) is an advantage

Business fluent in English
