The ideal candidate will be responsible Developing and managing the implementation of business strategy for OTC business in Morocco and achieve revenue targets in line with overall Country’s goals

Responsibilities

Manage the entry of products into Morocco

  • Liaison with the Morocco and India regulatory team to manage the entry of products in form of exports from India as per agreed timelines
  • Building relationship with MOH to be able to influence and resolve difficult situation related to product registration and entry
  • Basic level knowledge of the export process which is key to product entry into Morocco – Documentation, points of contact etc

Market construct & competitive Intelligence

  • Complete understanding of the OTC market in Morocco
  • Category and subcategory understanding
  • SKU level understanding within categories
  • Sourcing and working on market data for Morocco (e.g : Nielsen, Euromonitor etc…)
  • Mapping Competition 4P – packaging, pricing, placement, promotion
  • Project Management and Building launch GTM

  • Managing NPD projects and networks
  • Building a calendar for new market launches
  • Building GTM for product launches
  • Knowledge of media landscape in Morocco and building Media plans for new product launches
  • Doctor interactions

  • Working and coordinating with the doctor detailing team ( FLM and team of MRs) to be able to build product demand
  • Plan and fulfil any promotional material requirement for the channel
  • P&L and Marketing spend management

  • Managing the overall OTC P&L for Morocco as per alignment
  • Managing and planning A&P spends
  • Creating new channels

  • Creating new channels for market entry
  • Working with sales team to put in a structure for market entry
  • New Acquisitions

  • Supporting in Identifying and shortlisting possible acquisitions for OTC categories
  • Liasoning with M&A team for onboarding acquisitions
  • Major Challenges

  • Registration approval process for new product introductions basis export from India
  • Putting in place the sales model for para pharmacie channel
  • Key Interactions

  • Country head, Morocco for discussing / finalising and approvals
  • CHL India marketing and business team, for discussing / finalising and approvals
  • CHL India exports and regulatory team for product registration
  • M&A team for acquisition related work
  • Sales Team on continuous contact to receive market feedback, support sales activities and give directions to drive business
  • Finance to track budgets (monthly), manage purchase administrative process, and secondary sales analysis, follow up on LBE
  • Medical / Regulatory Maroc for all scientific / promotional inputs / content
  • Supply chain to get inventory on stock management
  • External

  • Communication and Creative agencies to purchase products reminders and design VAs and POSM
  • Media agencies to run media plans
  • E-comm partners like Jumiah
  • Regulatory authorities like MOH
  • Skills & Knowledge

    Educational qualifications :

  • Masters degree in marketing
  • Relevant experience :

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience
  • Has experience in building OTC products through doctors and media
  • Experience of building and launching NPDs
  • Building launch GTMs
  • HCP and media communication design
  • Has media (TV / Digital and other media) experience
  • Has worked with media / digital / 3rd party agencies and partners
  • 1 yr. of trade experience is preferred
