Game Developer

We are looking for a skilled developer to join AKILEK CONSULTING digital team, creating educational games for young children. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to build games from start to finish. You will be working in a small dedicated team so communication and well-written readable code is vital to success. While you will have responsibility for the games you create, you will be using Unity and a Lead Developer will be there to help guide you.

This is a Remote internship position for 3-6 months.

Day To Day

• Create logic for game engines based on game designs.
• Implement art and audio assets into the game.
• Write code that conforms to the team's standard.
• Test your games for bugs and fix bugs where necessary
• Take initiative on your own workflow and work through a task list and deliver tasks on time.
• Communicate clearly with your team, feeding back on weekly requirements and progress.
• Offer solutions to increase efficiency and engagement within the games.

About You

Must-Have : Basic / Good understanding of Unity, including UI, Animation, and optimization. Basic C# skills. A good understanding of concepts such as OOP, design patterns, and data structures. Experience using version control such as Git. Bonus Points Experience in Photoshop Experience working in children’s media
