The primary objective of this role is to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of all accounting functions, contributing significantly to the company's financial stability and growth. You will play a vital part in developing and implementing financial strategies, improving processes, and providing valuable insights that inform crucial business decisions. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the company's continued success through reliable financial reporting and effective financial management.

In this role, a wide range of responsibilities await you, offering diverse challenges and opportunities for growth.

  • Account Payable and Receivable Management : Processing invoices, managing payments, and reconciling accounts.
  • Financial Reporting : Preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and identifying trends.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting : Assisting in the development and monitoring of budgets, and forecasting future financial performance.
  • Internal Controls : Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Compliance : Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
  • Month-end and Year-end Close : Supporting the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • There will also be opportunities to collaborate with other departments, providing financial support and advice. This ensures smooth collaboration and effective resource allocation across the company.

    Profil recherché :

    To succeed in this role, a strong educational foundation is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bac +5 or higher degree in Management, Accounting, or Finance . A strong academic background in accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and financial analysis techniques is necessary to ensure a smooth integration into the role. Further qualifications or certifications will be highly valued.

    With 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, you will bring a wealth of practical knowledge and skills to the position. A proven track record of success in managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and conducting financial analysis is crucial. Experience working within the BTP / Civil Engineering Energy sector is considered a significant asset, offering a deeper understanding of the industry's unique financial challenges and opportunities. This experience is essential for quickly acclimating and contributing value from day one.

    Beyond education and experience, certain key skills are critical for success. Strong proficiency in accounting software, excellent attention to detail, and advanced analytical skills are paramount for accuracy and efficiency.

  • Accounting Software Proficiency : Expertise in relevant accounting software.
  • Analytical Skills : The ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Communication Skills : Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills : Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Problem-solving skills : Ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues effectively.
  • Fluency in French and English will be advantageous. These attributes form the foundation for success in this challenging and rewarding position.
