Barman / Barmaid

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following standard recipes.
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks according to the hotel's specifications.
• Provide beverage recommendations to guests and offer menu suggestions.
• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and hospitable manner.
• Take drink orders from guests, answering questions about the menu items.
• Check identification of guests to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the bar counter, equipment, and glassware.
• Handle cash and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor and restock bar inventory, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, garnishes, and supplies.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
• Interact with guests, providing a high level of customer service and engaging in conversation.
• Address guest concerns and resolve any issues related to the bar service promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless food and beverage service.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of new bartenders.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow proper sanitation and hygiene practices in food and beverage preparation.
