About CommonShare

CommonShare is building a platform and ecosystem to service the $2 trillion and growing sustainable procurement market. Retailers, producers, suppliers, certification bodies, and standard owners are all searching for an easy solution to manage sustainability compliance. CommonShare is building a multi-sided marketplace experience and accompanying a SaaS toolset to ease sustainability compliance, communication, and commerce.

Responsibilities

Develop efficient and scalable front-end code using technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Vue.JS, and frameworks like React or Angular.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design wireframes into functional interfaces.
Optimize application performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
Implement responsive designs and ensure seamless user experiences across various platforms.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functioning of web applications.
Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications

Over 2 years experience as a frontend engineer.

Have a solid understanding of Vue.Js (2+ years)

Experience with Typescript

Experience with writing documentation for APIs

Strong understanding of unit / integration testing

Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

Previous proven experience creating scalable applications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.

Fluency in English.
