Key Responsibilities :
Reporting to Program Chief Engineer LV NA, the position is responsible for :
- Developing and delivering cost competitive designs on time, budget, quality target, meeting the customer requirements (Flawless Product Development and Launch).
- Engineering customer interface. Mostly for US Market.
- Engineering interface with other project areas (sales, manufacturing, program management, purchasing.)
- Organizing and leading engineering teams worldwide (HW, SW, Electromechanical, Safety, Cybersecurity, Testing…).
- Project Timing for engineering activities, getting alignment on dates and scope with internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Engineering budget, forecast and expense control (resources, expenses and CAPEX)
- Leading design to cost and design to win.
- Leading BOM to support achievement of product competitiveness targets / CTO roadmaps / material cost / MCE…
- Leading technical evaluation of product changes (ECR, PCR, DFC, eTracker…) and effort estimations.
- Managing engineering risk that could affect project milestones.
- Release final product to customers (internal or external) assuring the right levels of quality are achieved.
Key skills and Qualifications :
University degree in Industrial / Electronics Engineering.Proven experience in a technical area, ideally in the automotive industryProven leadership experience in managing engineering teams.Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.Knowledge of engineering processes.Proactive, results-driven and continuous improvement mindset.Proficiency in English language, spoken and writtenWhy Lear
